It was granny's birthday!!! So everyone went over to granny's in Jurong early in the morning. My cousins and I went over to Creative Fest and got ourselves.....

OOh yaa.. the Creative guy that serve us was soo cute!! We kept bombarding him with questions... Then they kept glancing back at us, till we got so embarressed, grabbed the purchase papers and ran off.. haa...

Both Liu Jun and I got the HOT PINK!!!
We got the last two... wooot! Then i got to buy a really nice looking speakers at $19 + a free membership card + 2 free stick-ons!!!

I simply love Creative sales!!!

Li Jun and Ying went over to IMM Best Denki, got themselves HOT PINK iPOD mini.. Looking real cool and sleek girls!! ^^

Woke up real early today, accompanied dar to Acer service centre in Jurong, to repair his laptop. Something wrong with the screen... it blacked out.

Following that, we went to IMM... guess what we saw?
ROTI MUM! haa..
First there was Roti-boy... then Papa-Roti, now got Roti-Mum... wth!!
Anyway... all i can say is... Papa-Roti is the worst!!! haa..

Ooh ya.. after that...

Dar and me had a 1-day camp at Pasir Ris Park today!!

He had been grumbling about getting himself a tent since god-knows-when. Now that he finally got himself a 4-man tent at half price, he was sooo excited!! hahaa....

So we finally pitch up a tent! Dar taught me how to do it...

Pitching up a tent got tactics okieee.... From the kind of land you should pitch your tent on.... to the direction that you should plunge your peg into the ground so that they won't be forced out of it.

However, the weather was so hot today!!

On the way back, we walked passed Downtown East, and saw Toro having autograph session. Knowing that Candy would loved it, dar reluctantly took some photos of him... haha..

Just got back home once again.

Went to Cineleisure for the preview of Madagasca, with the pair of tickets that dar and I won.

I went to fetch dar from work at 6pm. We took a cab down to orchard, since everyone was expected to be sitted by 6.50pm. Huiyi and Weiloon were alrady there.

The securities were very strict with the checking of bags. Everyone has to open their bags and the guards shone a torch in it. Dar and me gotta deposit our handphones due to the cameras. =.="

The movie was okie la, kinda funny. However, there's not much of a plot, and there were some scenes that looks rather familair. It's definitely not something that I will pay more than $7.50 for.

What a tiring day it was yesterday!!

Wei Sze accompanied me to Tanjong Pagar to sign my Baxter contract in their main office. Since we ain't familiar with the place, we made a few wrong turns before actually finding the place.

Now...

This is for Lin:-
Keppel Tower is NOT the tallest building there!!!
Qi si wo le... Lin was telling me to look out for the tallest building, that's how we made the wrong turn!

This is for Dar:-
The MRT station in Tanjong Pagar DOES NOT list which exit leads to Keppel Tower!!
Gawd.. luckily i checked out the map for other buildings around it.. thus we can exit correctly from the station.

Wei Sze and I were cursing under our breathe "stupid guys, give us the wrong pointers. we don't need you to lead us around, we can find the places ourselves! humph!!"

So we asked a few passer-bys and finally made it there...
Almost got me running late!!

After that, it was stated that i had to go for medical checkup. It was 4pm, and the clinic closes at 5pm in Raffles Place, so Wei Sze and i rushed down, following the map given to us.

We found the place once again!! Damn.. ain't we good!
After a series of tests, i had to go to Outram for my X-ray. It was already 4.45pm, and the X-ray clinic place closes at 5.30pm. So we made a run for that place with the map again!!

After a few turns and asking passer-by, we made it!!

Like i say...
"who needs guys... girls can read maps PERFECTLY FINE!!!"
hahaha....

Wei Sze came over to my house for dinner that night...
Mum cooked a really scrumptious one!! Wei Sze was sooo happy with the food.. lol
We chat, watch tv, play tarot till her parents picked her up at 11pm.

What a day!!

Got home at 2.39am Tuesday morning.

It was Wei Sze's birthday yesterday. The usual group of gers, plus Lin and Fong, Yong Shu and Yuan Cong went Pasir Ris to bowl. It's been ages since i last bowl with the girls. Seriously miss it, it's always so much fun!

Oh ya... Fong totally rocks in bowling, continuously Strike for up to 4-5 times in a row!! Even the uncle beside us also looks at him... haa...

We had a competiton, with Fong, Huifen, Yuan Cong and me in a team vesus the rest. Even though the rest of us sux, Fong's score was able to make us the winning team!! Woooot! We played a second round and still manage to win... haa...

I thought there's suppose to be punishment for loser team.. ah-hem.. what happen ah!! Not fair!! Last time we cooked cup noodles for you guys already okie... where's your turn of punishment!! ^^V

Following that, Yong Shu and Yuan Cong left early, the rest of us went for dinner at Han's and movie - House of Wax.

Before entering the cinema... the guy actually ask for our IC!! (btw, House of Wax is an NC-16 show)
We were like.. wth??? We conclude that Lin is holding the tickets.. that's why. hahaa.... He still have that very boyish face, and he really looks like Naruto!!! I guess that explains it huh... haha...

Seriously, Huifen and me are the last person you should ever watch horror or gruesome movie with. We prefer to live in our own happy bubble where scarey and gruesome things does not exist. Huifen left halfway through the movie, and I close my eyes, cover my ears, and stayed that way throughout the entire movie.

I know.. you guys probably thinking "why don't you just say you don't wanna watch?" Well.... I seldom went for movie with these guys, so ya..

When it's finally over, we went over to Guo Wei's block, where he bought blackforest birthday cake for Wei Sze. It really makes me go awww...... Sometimes I reaallly wish...
*sigh*
Oh well.. nevermind... just another silly thought.

Fong left after that, and that left just us - 4girls + Guo Wei and Lin (our 2 chauffeurs). Steph and me got into Lin's car, the other 2 got into Guo Wei's. We headed for East Coast Park.

Love the sea breeze...
We sat on the sea breaker, and the tide was rising. It looks like the waves are gonna come and engulf us, as it crashes against the sea breaker. The sky was clear, and i could see the moon and lotsa stars! Wish dar was there too, he would soo love the sight!!!

Next stop, we went over to Geylang for He Ji Bao. We had our supper. Yummy... Couldn't finish the food, and we had to play Zhong Ji Mi Mah. Poor Lin gotta force the food down.

Last stop was Changi Airport. We went to the viewing mall, watch the flights take off and land. Wei Sze was writing her diary, and Huifen was entertaining her. Guo Wei simply laze around feeling restless.

Lin, Steph and I had this talk about relationship and stuff. It's nice. I love having our talks. We have been each other's advisor and listener since secondary school, and I can really feels our friendship is so different from the rest. It's not only the 3 of us.. it's our group.. our secondary school friends.

Since we were Sec. 1 till now.. regardless the fact that some went jc.. others go poly, some in NS, we are still all in contact and as close as ever!
I have always believed that my closest friends are those from secondary schools... They are the ones that actually watch you grow, from just a child going throught puberty, through your teenage years and to adulthood now...
Both jc and poly phase seems to makes it kind of hard to build a firm friendship foundation, considering the different classes and tons of projects blah blah... most of us become mere acquaintance.

This group of friends of mine, the friendship that exist is truly exceptional.
It's special. I'm so glad I have you guys.

Cheers to our 7 years of friendship!!

Dar and me specially went to Pet Safari to look at the puppies!!! We simply love going there! =D
OMG...

I got my eye on the Pomeranian puppy, it's so chubby and cute!!
Golden retriever puppy, and husky puppy ain't bad either!!

So i've decided, THAT'S what i want for my 21st birthday next year!!
A PUPPY!!!

I know it's still quite a long while to go, haa.. coz gonna wait till next year...

Finally, got a job!!

Baxter called today, offering their pharmacy technician position in TTSH. Gonna work in cleanroom, making IV solutions and stuff. It's a 1 year contract.

Oh well, at least the pay is reasonable.
Gonna go down to their main office next Tuesday...

Went to Bugis with mummy today.. coz she wanted to go to the temple and I had to pick the free Madagascar movie tickets for dar and me. (dar won too.. so we have 2 pair of tix!)
I think no one is taking part in the competition, that's why both of us won... haha..

Anyway, i went to Wisma Alsagoff to pick my tickets. It's the office of Yahoo Singapore. Not a bad working environment at all... though the office is pretty small.. but the staff seems like a fun bunch!! There's lotsa colorful beanie bags laying around and it gives people a very relaxing feeling.

The caucasian guy who attended to me at first is sooo cute!! Chesthut brown hair with blue eyes, speaks with an American slang. ^^
I sorta stutter when he asked if he can help, I was speaking very nicely till the word 'Madagascar'...
Damn it... stutter over that word, soo embarressing!! >.<

Anyway... I happily took my tickets and accompany mum to Guan Ying Temple. Following that, we went to Cold Storage. They are selling this extremely huge and red strawberries!!! Bought 1 box for dardar, he loves strawberries!!! Wait till he see how huge they are! haa..

In the evening, I surprised dar by going to school to pick him upand gave him the strawberries!! Then we met up with the usual bunch of people (May, Huiyi and Weiloon) for dinner at Phin's. They are famous for their beer batter fish and chips!!

Okie.... this is IT.
I'm staying OUT of the way with alcohol.

Alcohol + ME = red, angry rashes ALL over me

The first time this happen, was during my final year attachment. I drank choya the day before, and by midnight, my rashes was real bad. My entire back was filled with ANGRY RED RASHES, followed by my arms and neck.

I thought it must be only for choya, after all, choya (japanese wine) is different from red wine. I drank red wine before, and wasn't allergic to it!

This time round, i drank Bacardi Breezer lime (vodka).
Those who read my previous entry, i drank it too on Huiyi's chalet, sharing a bottle with dar.

The only difference is, i drank the entire bottle today while eating chips. The rashes start acting up on my arms about an hour after i finished.
Gawd... now.. it's happening all over again!!!

I still don't believe i'm allergy to alcohol, i was never allergic to anything before!!

*humph*

After all, very few percentage of people get allergy to alcohol. I believe i'm allergic to one of the ingredients in it. But i had no idea which, so i'm SUPPOSED to completely avoid alcohol?!!
That's kinda stupid right...

Fed myself anti-histamine tablets and pray it will get over soon.

Just how do one balance between bf and friends, keeping both side happy?
I absoluetly suck at doing that. Plus the fact that both sides are not exactly welcoming each other with open arms aren't helping at all!

Felt stuck right in the middle now, in a very diffcult position. When one gets into a relationship, friends need to understand that there's now someone important in his/her life, and keeping his/her other half at an arm's length isn't gonna help bring friendship any closer!!

It's true that friends drift apart when one gets into relatioship, but that can be help if there's acceptance of one's other half and vice versa!! Make friends with each other!! It's such a simple logic, so why is it so hard to acheive?

Everyone is guilty of this sin, including me.

Perhaps it's time we count our blessings, and be content with whatever we have.

Had fun today!!!!
Just came back from Huiyi's chalet.

With my Shepherd's Pie, i happily went over to dar's house to watch Gundam Seed Destiny while waiting for City Satay's delivery. The anime was so nicee... i was glued to the screen for a few hours!!!

Anyway, Huiyi's chalet was located in Costa Sand, and we started setting up the pit at 5.30pm. Weiloon, dar and me did the setting up of fire. Okiee... this is gonna sound embarressing, we took more than half an hour and used up all the fire starters. lol....

The chalet opposite us, had 2 guys starting up the pit at the same time as us, and were already bbqing. We were still miserably starting up the fire... they are probably laughing their ass off.. haha...

My Shepherd's Pie was a hit!!! Got a few compliments... hee.
Adrain said it's very nice, and i really value that compliment!! Perhaps coz he's older bahz, and it's nice when someone older praise you, it fills you with a sense of pride, like when a teacher praise a student. hahaa...

Okiee..... the pie was indeed small, coz i wasn't sure if it will be well-liked, with so many food bought... and i wasn't expecting such a crowd!!

Oh ya... i had my first encounter with vodka today. It was Bacardi lime flavor, with 5% alcohol. It tastes like lime juice indeed! I shared 1 bottle with dar, with him drinking majority of it, and i drank a few sips. Dar say no kick at all de... and he bought tiger beer. In the end he did not finish it, coz too bloated le!! haha...

The tiger beer not bitter mah.... i told dar, with YanMing so surprised.. haha.. Really not bitter mah... dar said maybe coz my first encounter with liquor is red wine bahz... ^.^

Bihao drove us back to Pasir Ris Interchange at 10pm. Beckie, Adrain, dar and me sat on the back of his lorry. First experience.. and simply love it. It was a smooth ride!!

Enjoyed myself today!!

Very often, people has a misconception about quiet nice girl.

But what they often miss out is, behind this quiet nice girl, lies someone who remembers every single hurtful word, abusive action, offensive expression to the very last detail.

This quiet girl gets very easily prick with the slightest offensive word, or the offensive expression made when they taught she wasn't looking. And she damn well remember everything.

She holds it against them, maintain a mindful distance and a poker face, breeding hatred deep inside. She rejoy in their misery.
