Damn, i'm beginning to love travelling down north-south line from work. For 2 consecutive weeks, amidst those ah ma and ah pek in the train, i spotted 2 absolute yan-dao, or at least i taught so!

Last week, i board the train after work, and saw this Orlando Bloom look-alike. *Lijun, u read that? I saw Bloom look-alike!! (,^^)V*

Other than the fact that the guy looks slightly older and skinner, he looks exactly like Bloom from Troy! My jaws practically dropped at the stark resemblance. So i purposely position myself at 45 degree angle facing him (too shy to stand directly opposite front him =x), and steal a glance now and then. hee...

That guy got down at Ang Mo Kio, and oh ya... He has got reali hairy legs! I wonder if Bloom has too.. =x
ahaha..


Today, i board the train home again. Guess who i saw?

This time round, i was standing right beside him!! ^^
This guy is apparently a polytechnic student. His side view really looks like Jay. I took a sneak peak at him once in a while. Quite yandao orh...

BUT...

When he alight at Yio Chu Kang (apparently he's from NYP), I was HORRIFIED by his back view. He was wearing his jeans really low, i swear if i just give it a soft tug, his butt will be for all to see!!! The way he walk seems abit weird too, as if his jeans were too heavy and he's dragging his feet.

However... the one that really win hands down gotta be his HAIR!! It looks like a horse's mane at the back! Majority of his hair is brownish in colour, and those at the neck was bright orange!!!!!

Gawd, i was abosutely turned off!!!
Oh well...... train rides can be such an experience sometimes!
Shall do more people observing!! ^^

Nationl Library is finally open to public!! Went with dardar yesterday... There were so many new books, and entire collection of my favourite author! Couldn't resist borrowing them. Oh ya, and i simply love the design, especially on the 12th storey!

Towards the evening, we went to watch fireworks by the waterfront Esplanade, from the ndp preview. The ship that was setting off the firework was directly in front of us, and we actually witnessed them setting it off into the sky, followed by the sparkles falling back into the waters...

I must say... there's quite a few rather impressive designs!! ^^

Attended my colleague's wedding in church yesterday. Saw Aik Peng there too, what a coincidence!

Met up with dar and we went to Marina Bay for the $12 steamboat buffet after that. 2 person eat buffet also can be fun okie!! No need to go in a huge group de... hahaa... Halfway through dinner, saw fireworks from ndp rehearsal. ^^

Went out with dar to Cathay Cineleisure today. We wanted to get the $1.60 Fantastic Four movie tickets (courtesy of Straits Times coupons), but all sold out! So we went shopping instead, and dar bought me an anklet!!!

How often do you see people wearing anklet nowadays?
It seems like people are more obessed with multiple earrings and piercings, bracelets, necklaces and toe ring blah blah....

What happen to the very first jewellery items that most of us had when we were a child, an anklet?

Hmmm... this anklet's gonna be my most treasured piece... ^^

19) the long stairs and overhead bridge to and fro TP

18) the long queue outside ultra-supplier centre

17) the toilet at Asc concourse level with it's distingusih smell *hahaa*

16) Asc mobile canteen, where everyone will always eat the same old things 10mins before lectures resume

15) the link-up lectures, with one side always noiser than the other....

14) the mensa canteen superb western food.. design canteen muslim food.. business canteen Jay Chou look-alike chicken rice uncle *snicker*

13) how Guo Wei would charm those mensa cateen jap food auntie into giving us more potion for soft shell crab bento set

12) smuggling food and tibits into lecture hall

11) growling tummy during long hour lectures

10) how Dr P. Low would specially "address" latecomers

09) how Mr Thiong would take the mic and randomly walk up lecture theatre stairs to "interview" people during lectures

08) how OSP always complaint about "background" noise during lectures, when it's already so silent that you can hear a pin drop

07) rushing reports in school com lab few mins before it's due

06) pop quizzes during tutorials and lectures, where everyone will complaint, grumble... then you can start seeing people with giraffe neck

05) the 3 musketeers during our lectures, who never fail to bring laughter into boring lectures

04) sleeping in library in between lectures

03) how dardar would take pharmacopiea, stack them up, and sleep on them like a pillow in the library

02) my PA2 lab with Amanda, Rong Chang, dar and David, where we would sit together and have tons of fun during the lab session...


and FiNaLLy...


01) the people who have accompanied me throughout this 3 years journey in poly... classmates, coursemates, lecturers... Regardless if they'r the cleaners who i always see on the bridge, the security guard at the bus-stop who would say 'good morning' to me, the ultra supply auntie who will can me 'ah girl or xiao mei', a coursemate who i've never talk to... Every single person left a footprint in my life, every faces... and these memories will me lock up in a little treasure box and store deep in my heart.

I realise something... ever since i graduated from TP, I've never really been happy with my working life.

I don't find satisfaction in it, i don't enjoy it, i have no interest in it...
Basically...i hate the jobs i'm bound to do from what i studied!

I don't know... feeling so bitter..
I dread going to work everyday, and i absolutely hate that feeling. Imagine waking up everyday with dread... looking forward to going home only.

Don't anyone ever believe in getting a job that they love anymore, even if that means lesser pay?

My dad told me, where got people love their job one.
Even if u hate it, also must work, want earn money mah, what to do... Just ask anyone, and people will also give u the same answer.

Isn't this just so upsetting?

Feeling so depressed right now...

Overall Verdict: Service standard definitely drop alot, lotsa misplace orders and long waiting time. Food was satisfactory, but not as good as before.

Met dar up at tampines to buy his stuff, then went off to his house for dinner. Auntie cooked pig intestine soup. Really nice!!!

Saw my 3 friends at Breeks in TM today.
But hey girls... dun worry! No offence taken! haa.. you guys didn't know i'm off tomorrow anyway. Normally i wouldn't go out the night before, if i'm working the next day. You guys know it.
