Dar & me pop by Lin's place for steamboat along with the rest of my friends. It's so good to see everyone again. I love gatherings. =D

These are the ones, who went through my secondary school years with me. Since sec 1 to be exact, and even though everyone went to different class during sec 3 & 4, we are still as close as ever.

Okiee, i've been getting alot of people asking me, what i want for my birthday. After some thoughts, i've decided to come up with a list!!

Alright, here is my 21th birthday wishlist!

What i wish for:

1) A Pomeranian Puppy

Isn't it the cutest thing?? >.<

2) Playstation 3

I'm a game addict. What more can i say? ^^

3) MAC Fluidline along with MAC eyeliner brush #209

I wanna get "blacktrack" (the colour)!!

4) Sebastian Potion 9

I need this thing for my hair!! But it's ex, especially those in bottles...

5) Gift vouchers
Be it Metro, Isetan, Tangs or Takashimaya... Any is good! =D

6) $100 EZ-link card
Transportation fee can kill people nowadays in SG.


Okie... Here are the more boring practical things that I need..

1) Bag
I need a bag which i can both carry to work, and for casual wear.

2) Clothes
Girls can never have enough clothes. haha... Need skirts especially, those knee-length flowy skirts. I've only got 2! =( I need tops that i can wear to work too! Not blouses though... i don't like them! >.<

3) Sandals
Sandals for casual wear.

Had a Christmas feast with my relatives yesterday night. Always enjoy this family gathering time, and we finally had a turkey this time round! haha...

Christmas is a season of giving.
Personally, after receiving gifts from my uncles and aunties for so many years, i did something different this year. Since i'm working and have my own income, i decided to "pay it forward".

I purchased gifts for my cousins; those "little ones" and my granny. While others prefer to give cash to the elderly, i prefer giving presents. There's nothing wrong in giving ang baos, as it's individual preference. Just that personally, i think that since it's christmas, one of the fun part lies in the gift-opening!! The excitement ones get upon receiving presents and guessing what's in it. Who doesn't like receiving presents? So save the ang baos for chinese new year instead!

There are people who dread christmas shopping, but i'm only beginning to enjoy it! Giving a bad gift is as good as not giving at all. One gets a sense of satisfaction, seeing the appreciation smile lit up upon receiver's face, knowing you had just make someone's day. So learn to enjoy christmas shopping!

The joy of giving, that should be the christmas spirit, shouldn't it?

Went to watch King Kong yesterday.
Fantastic movie i must say.... though some parts are just plain gross, others are just plain creepy.. especially those looks of the native. I don't know about others, but i think the saddest part isn't the ending, but the part when they're capturing it off the island. >.<

So many movies to catch lately... There's still Narnia, and Wallace & Gromit!! Gonna burn a hole in my pocket. *sigh*

I'm gonna have a christmas feast with my relatives and family tonite. Can't wait!! =D Then there's still the gathering with my friends on Monday!

Dardar's 2 weeks of block leave came to an end today. =(

He booked in this morning to Nee Soon Camp. Dar was posted to be combat medic. Not surprising at all, both of us were expecting it.

However, he get to book out on friday night every week! =D
That's something to be cheerful about.. hee.. and he get to go to lectures!! He even has textbooks and subjects such as AnP, drug dispensing, first aid... Shouldn't be hard at all!

Alright.. time to sleep...

Nothing like having your own relative as your insurance agent. It gives me a peace of mind, knowing she won't hide anything from me when explaining policies.

However, now i have got another burden. =(

I FINALLy did it!!

I did a cermaic perm on my hair, and i LOVE it!!
Found this really good salon near TP which everyone raves about on Flowerpod Forum. It's called Le Sandy Salon, located opposite TP, near the pedestrain crossing, at the A1 Penang bubbletea shop that row.

About hearing all the raves in the forum, i booked an appointment with the lady boss, Sandy, and went down 1hr later. She has really good skills, and i love her service.

I had a cut, ceramic perm, colour, highlight and O3 treatment for only $225.
What a steal!
Just cut and ceramic perm alone for my hairlength cost only $125! The O3 treatment she did for me suppose to cost $75 leh... since i did dying and perming on the same day, which could be very damaging for my hair, she did it for me FOC!! =D

She taught me how to style my curls, offer me biscuits and lots of tea.. haha..
She attended to all the major steps in my perming, coloring and stuff, leaving to washing hair and stuff to her assistance only. Then during the waiting time, when she has to attend to other customers, she will come back and check on my hair once in a while. She's really attentive, and gives lots of advice, from choosing my colour to my hairstyle.
She taught me how to maintain my curls, keep them in place and all the shoulds and shouldn'ts.

The next morning, when i woke up, my curls was so messy, like lion's mane!!
I was shocked, so i called her up for S.O.S. hahaa...
Then she taught me what to do... and 'viola'!! My curls are back in order!!! So i play around with it and stuff. After a while, she even called me back, asking me how was it, whether i manage to style it back. So 'xi xin' right?

Really.. really love my hair!! I don't even need a comb anymore!! =D That's the best part, not having to comb my hair anymore. Gone was the boring straight hair!! =D

Attended dardar's P.O.P (Passing Out Phase) yesterday. Brought my youngest sis, Crystal along, since she said she wanna go, and i don't wanna go alone too.

It was awesome, i'm so proud of him.

All family members were invited to put the donkey cap on for the recruits to mark their graduation moment, so i get to do so for dardar!!

The parade ended as 5pm, but we get to depart Tekong at only 7pm, coz dar's Company was the last to leave.

We had our dinner at Cafe Cartel at 9pm, feeling so hungry!! Crystal waited for this dinner for so long, partly the reason she tag along to Tekong with me, to get a free nice dinner.. haha...

Reached home at 11pm, was totally beat!
