I finally get to watch The Da Vinci Code today. Dar refused to watch any newly-screened movie, coz it's always crowded and hard to get a good seat.

We waited and waited for a chance to catch this movie.....
and it was such a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Dar and me loved the novel.
He got the hard-cover colour-photos version, i got the paperback version. I read it twice, and had been looking forward to the movie screening.

But it was so... HAIzz....
The movie seems to be in such a rush!! Codes were broken just like that, not much of anticipation as when i read the novel. Alot of things were left out,... and added in. Ask me and i'll point them out one by one to you~! This movie is like a very simplified version of the novel.

Dar kept yawning throughout the movie. Then came a scene when Robert told Sophie she was the last remaining descendent of Christ, i heard someone snorts at the back row seats!! hahaa!

I couldn't stand Tom Hank's hairstyle in the movie (eeewws) and he look so blur-blur toot-toot de. The only actor who performed his role best is Sir Leigh Teabing! He was so charming!!!

For fans of the novel, i guess it's best to stick to the novel, and wait for DVDs. However, peeps who never read the novel and don't intend to, the movie might be worth catching. But whether you'll understand the movie is another issue all together.

I'm on 3 days MC.

Suffered from a very bad backache when i woke up on Sunday morning. Can barely lift myself up from my bed. My back hurts even when i walked.

Actually, this didn't happen overnight. For the past 2 to 3 weeks, i had already begin to feel mild ache on my lower back. But i choose to ignore it, thinking it will go away. However, the aching escalated, till i can't even bend forward for the past few days.

Sunday morning, immediately went down to private clinic downstairs. The doctor was shocked. How can a 21 yr old suffer from such stiff back. My back muscles were really really tight, all crunched up! She insists i take 3 days MC and do self physiotherapy at home, and she wouldn't take NO for an answer when i rejected it. =.="

I'm suppose to go back for review 1 week later. If pain still persists, may have to go for blood test and x-ray. *sigh*

This is such a bad year!!!

Just book an appointment for my pre-lasik consultation!!

Decided to go for the one at TTSH, coz of their updated equipment and a very well-recommended doctor!

It will be on 30th May 06. Had to wear my specs 2 weeks before the consultation, and that's a HUGE sacrifice for me!!! >.<
