I'm getting so bored of my lifestyle now.
Work sux as usual, can't wait to get outta there. But first, I must get my bonus first then quit. Ha!! I didn't work so hard for nothing oki, if it isn't for the bonus, i would have left long ago.
Stupid job, gave me so much health problems.
Planning to get a 5-day job, and no, i'm sooooo not gonna go back to this line. So sick of it.
Getting to see dardar only once a week lately. *grumbles*
He's involve in NDP, which is consuming up our weekends.
Looking forward to my next off from work....12th july , my lasik surgery!! It's gonna be on a Wednesday, followed by my 2-3 days MC, than weekends!!! Long break! Ha!!

Just got back from a 3d2n Genting trip with my family and relatives! We stayed at Resort Hotel, and i pretty like the place! Big rooms, pretty clean too. Only down side is that it's a distance from theme park and plaza. Though i like the convenience of First World hotels, their rooms really CMI.
It was alot more colder than when i went there 2 years back. Very misty. I did more shopping than playing over there this time round. There's more shops available too, especially the clothes from FOS are really cheap!!
One thing i really dislike there were the toilets. Horribly disgustingly filthy!!! Don't understand why they can't fork out money to maintain toilet cleanliness!! Even the ones in hotel lobby was eeewwww..... Imagine the impression they gave the tourists!
Another thing is the road trip. No lampost on highway! The horror!!
At night, it was completely dark except for vehincle headlights.
With cars travelling at over 100km/hr.... jeez..!!!
I'm so glad to be back in SG, where the toilets are clean and roads are brightly lit! The things we take for granted in SG... haa!
Baa.... down with flu right now. A souvenir from Genting trip.
*sigh*

Dar dragged me to Suntec today, for PC show. He wanted to get Zen Vision M, selling at $499 instead of original price of $599. It was soooo crowded!!! The queue at Creative was freaking long, got kinda turned off by it. Furthermore, dardar wanted the apple green colour, which was sold out! So we asked the salesguy if Marina Square Creative shop was having the same offer, he said "most probably no."
Fine... so we left.
Dar was kinda disappointed, but no use settling for something less than what you wanted, when it's so expensive and having a freaking long queue!
For me, i bought a logitech keyboard and mouse. The mouse was so cute, with puppy-paws prints trailing across the mouse. A limited edition!!!
Following that, we went over to marina square for dinner at Azabu Sabo. Nice!!! Love their ice-cream desserts, especially green-tea flavour. Yum!!
We headed for Creative stall at Marina Square, coz i knew dar won't be satisfied till he sees it for himself. Guess what??
Zen Vision M selling at $499 too, with the apple green colour that dar wanted!!!
Best of all, no queue!! Ha!
That salesguy lied to us!! Argh, can never trust them!
Dar bought the mp3 player on the spot.
I've got Creative membership, so i used my rebate points. From offer price of $499, dar bought it at $467!! Freaking cheap, considering Zen Vision M original price was $599!!
Dar was one happy guy. Ha!!
Anyway, we finally caught X-men 3 today. Good show.
Oh ya, and do stay after the credits! ^^

It's about time i blog about my lasik pre-consultation!!!!
I was on half-day leave on 30th May to attend my pre-consultation. My MO is Doc Lee Hung Ming, a senior consultant from TTSH. He is also the head for refractive surgery in TTSH!!
Anyway, the lasik centre in TTSH is pretty well-furnished! Very nice sofas, carpeted floorings, two iMac computer with free internet access, local newspaper articles blew up to giant-size raving about lasik surgeries framing the walls. 2-thumbs up for the decor. ^^
All tests for for pre-consultation were done by different people. I was only to meet my doctor at the end of these tests to determine on the type of surgery needed.
First, i was to do the normal refractive tests, to determine my myopia and astigmatism. Next, a series of tests with funny machines.
Then, came the scary part!! There was this machine to test the pressure of my eye-whatever. So i'm suppose to look into the machine, and suddenly a puff of gas hit straight at my pupil.
!!!
Not just once, but a couple of times each eye, with no idea when the stream of gas was coming!! >.<
The scariest test of all, testing of cornea thickness. A few drops of numbing eyedrops were dripped into the eyes. Then this small hand-held device with a pointy end was to come in contact with my pupil, holding it there while the device took the reading.
Just imagine someone taking a pointy metal stick and touching your pupil with it!!!!! *shrieks*
Had to take the readings a couple of times somemore, to achieve consistent results.
Following that, it's time for pupil dilation eye-drops.
Then the shitest shit of shitty things happened.
I had allergy reaction in my left eye to the pupil dilation eye-drop being used!! I started tearing non-stop, and my left eye started swelling. I was rushed to my doc immediately. Think i scare the hell outta my mum, thank goodness she was with me, coz i couldn't even see properly where i was going. Doc Lee determined the allergy reaction, said it was nothing to worry about, so i was to rest a while and proceed with my last test, refractive test again for re-assurance of readings.
I collected the eye-drop prescribed for my allergy, as a full-paying patient (ouch!). The only good-thing, no queues for me at pharmacy.
But the allergy was BAD!!!
I teared non-stop from 2.30pm, the time when the deadly drop was given, throughout the day and into the night. I could barely open my left eye coz it hurts alot. There wasn't much i can do. Next morning when i could finally see again, my left eye was puffy. Otherwise, i'm okie and went to work as usual.
Anyway, Doc Lee recommended me Wavefront lasik due to my high myopia. My chance of achieving 6/6 vision is 97%, while 3% chance of having residual myopia of 100-150 degrees. If that happens, enhancement will be done FOC. Now the decision to make is... should i choose Intralase or Microkeratome.
"IntraLase is the first blade-free laser technology for performing the critical first step in the LASIK procedure: creating the corneal flap. Prior to IntraLase, this first step was done manually using a hand-held device with an oscillating metal razor blade, called a microkeratome."
Quote from - (http://www.intralase.com/patient/faq/index.php)
But intralase cost $500 more per eye!! Doc said his patient chose 50-50. Half chooses blade, half chooses laser.
But i'm still leaning towards Intralase.... hmm..
