Couldn't walked and that was my only pair!!

Pei'e specially make a trip back home to bring me a new pair (she live nearby). Very nice of her. =)

Went to Indooroopilly to buy new shoes.

Went for a field trip from my parasitology class today to the Australian Army Institute of Malaria Research.

It's located in the Army Barracks.
The trip was ok... nothing significant.

The Aust. camo uniform looks kinda funny.
Looking closely at the prints, i can actually make out the heart-shapes, butterfly-shapes etc. Imagine macho army guy in those prints....

Went to EKKA Carnival today. It was a really huge place, and really takes 1 entire day to finish walking it!

Had my first Molecular and Applied Parasitology lab today!!!


Hair Lice

Yeap, that's what we deal with today.
Nasty little things, won't wanna get them near your hair!

Today's lab was about testing different insecticide to kill them, intercepting with their life cycles, and extracting their DNA.

Deal with so many hair lice today, can only pray that no one lost their little 'pet'.

Last thing you wanna do is to bring one home. ha!
